Cisco GLC BX U is a 1310-nm TX/1490-nm RX SFP transceiver, it works with another model GLC BX D and form a pair, the GLC BX U is a Bi directional SFP that use a simplex LC interface, working via one single mode optical fiber cable. We supply the Cisco GLC BX U equivalent SFP transceivers.

The GLC BX U SFP-BIDI transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting dual data-rate of 1.25Gbps/1.0625Gbps and 20km transmission distance with SMF.

The GLC BX U transceiver consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.

 

The GLC BX U transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please refer to SFP MSA.
